The spathe on “Marian Seefurth” measures 7” inches long and 6 “ inches wide and is broad and heart shaped with overlapping lobes. The spadix is greenish yellow when young and white and upright when mature. The color intensity is influenced by environment and age. Flower yield over a consecutive period of 151 weeks averaged 6.9 flowers per plant per year, which can be considered excellent.
