Tropic Fire

Description:

The spathe on "Tropic Fire" measures 5-1/2 inches long and 4-1/2 inches wide and is broader than the tulip shape or rain drop shape with slightly overlapping lobes. The spadix is white with greenish yellow color when mature. The color intensity of this eye catching bright dark red bloom is the reason this new cultivar was named "Tropic Fire". This rapidly forming cultivar has high-yield flowering shoots that produce 7.2 blooms per shoot per year which can be considered excellent.
